ARSENAL STARTED THEIR PRE-SEASON CAMPAIGN WITH A 2-1 DEFEAT TO HIBERNIAN

Mikel Arteta’s team kicked off their pre-season on Tuesday with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Willian, Eddie Nketiah and Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the starting line-up.

As well as Arsenal young goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo who had a moment to forget in the 21st minute with an embarrassing error in goal leading to the home team first goal by completely missing his kick.
Daniel Mackay then doubled the host lead in the 69th minute.

Pepe had the chance to reduce the deficit from the spot, but he disappointed from 12-yards out.
Arsenal later found a goal in the 81st minute thanks to a volley from Emile Smith Rowe.

Arsenal resumes their pre-season against Steven Gerrard’s Rangers on Saturday.
