Cristiano Ronaldo arrives at Manchester United after quarantine

Ronaldo’s return is a big deal, but Man United can’t afford to lose focus when it comes to winning games. They have already dropped two disappointing points away from home early on this season and need not repeat any mistakes if they want success once again soon enough!

After three matches, Manchester United are on the right track to making a return. They beat Leeds United 5-1 in their opener before recording yet another 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers with just 30 seconds left thanks to an impressive goal from Mason Greenwood who has scored 3 times this season so far!

After being in third place, two points behind the leaders of Hotspur with a busy end of this month coming up for them as well. In addition to Champions League matches against Marseille on December 9th and 10th which will be followed by an EFL Cup fixture versus Wolves next Wednesday evening at Anfield Road stadium (8 pm GMT).

Newcastle United

The owners of Newcastle United are not happy with the team’s performance so far in the 2021-22 Premier League season, and they have made it clear at every opportunity. The club has only picked up one point from their three matches to put them in 17th place on the table as things stand now.

On the opening weekend of the season, Newcastle suffered consecutive defeats to West Ham United and Aston Villa before advancing through the EFL Cup on Tuesday night by defeating Burnley on penalties. Not exactly what we wanted, but at least there’s a chance of winning something!

The Newcastle team has a daunting task ahead of them as they battle it out with Manchester United at Old Trafford, where the last three Premier League matches between these two clubs have ended in defeat for The Magpies. However, this time around things could be different given that their latest away match took place way back on December 26th, 2013.

Team News

Manchester Team

Ronaldo is expected to start at center-forward on Saturday. Recently he trained with his new teammates who are all very excited for him!

Assuming that Jadon Sancho has recovered from the injury that forced him to withdraw from the England squad, he could form part of a front four with Ronaldo, Greenwood, and Bruno Fernandes.

Even though Scott McTominay is back in training after groin surgery, he may not be able to play this weekend due to a conflicting schedule. Brazil’s Fred has had his FIFA suspension lifted, and he could be back on the field in no time!

Newcastle team

In the Southampton game before the international break, Callum Wilson injured his thigh, so Joelinton could partner Saint-Maximin in a front two.

Dubravka, Shelvey, and Fraser all have the chance of being unavailable through injury but Darlow & Hayden could be involved.

Possible Line Up

Manchester United starting lineup:

De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; Van de Beek, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Sancho; Ronaldo

Newcastle United possible lineup:
