The President of The Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas confirmed the sad news to Channels Television this morning.
While the cause of her death is unknown, there are conflicting reports as to when she passed. The report comes as a shock to the film industry as the “Owo Blow” actress was reportedly sighted shooting Film Scenes in Mowe, Ogun, state only a few days ago.

Samklef, a music artiste, also posted about the death of the veteran without going into details; “Sad news another legend is gone. RIP to my childhood actor Racheal Oniga. May her soul Rest in Peace. Nollywood lost an angel”.
She is survived by three children and several grandchildren. Until her death, she was one of the most popular and Influential actors in Nollywood.
